Terms of Service

What LMNTS is

LMNTS tracks what you actually understand as you learn from videos, articles, documentation, AI chats, and other sources, and builds that into a Learning Scope you can carry into other apps. It's in beta: features, limits, and behavior can change as we build.

Your account

• You can sign up with email and password, or with Google, GitHub, or LinkedIn.
• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
• You must be old enough in your country to agree to these terms on your own behalf.

Connecting third-party apps

LMNTS lets you connect your own Learning Scope to AI apps you use elsewhere, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor, over MCP (Model Context Protocol). You choose which subjects a given connection can see, and you can disconnect any app at any time without affecting the others. You're responsible for what you choose to connect and to whom.

Acceptable use

• Don't use LMNTS to misrepresent someone else's understanding as your own, or to impersonate another learner.
• Don't attempt to disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without authorization, or access accounts other than your own.
• Don't upload content you don't have the right to share.

Content you bring in

When you point LMNTS at a video, article, or other source so it can track your learning, you're responsible for having the right to use that content that way. LMNTS processes it to build your concept map and confidence scores; it doesn't claim ownership of the source material itself.

Service changes and availability

LMNTS is an evolving product. We may add, change, or remove features, and we'll try to give notice of changes that meaningfully affect how you use the product, but we can't guarantee the service will always be available or error-free.

Ending your account

You can stop using LMNTS and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

LMNTS is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the date below and, where appropriate, let you know.
